 Wisdom is a gift, a treasure to behold,

A wellspring of knowledge, both ancient and bold.

It speaks in a whisper, a gentle refrain,

Guiding us forward, and showing the way.

Wisdom is patient, and never in haste,

It takes the time to carefully taste,

The words on our lips, the thoughts in our minds,

Before offering guidance, of a kindly kind.

Wisdom is humble, it knows its own worth,

It does not seek praise, or seek to assert,

Its presence or power, in the world around,

But simply exists, as a beacon unbound.

So let us embrace wisdom, in all that we do,

Let it guide our actions, and see us through,

The trials and tribulations, of this life we lead,

For with wisdom by our side, we can achieve,

Great things, and make a difference, indeed.
